Hello, everyone!
My name is Jessica, I’m a former student of Youcan school. I am having an amazing opportunity to live in London to study this moment.
I arrived here on 26th of August 2020 and I had to quarantine for 14 days. The weather was nice and warm, but I had to hold all the happiness that I was feeling and stay in.
My first contact with English language here was at supermarkets and pharmacies (the only places that I could go). However, my first month in London was amazing and those 14 days passed quickly!
Everything is so different and new; each street gets my attention. I’ve already been to so many beautiful places, but my favourite one (so far) is London Eye.
My schedule is busy during the week, I’ve been studying from Monday to Thursday 9 am till 5.30 pm and on Fridays 9 am till 1pm, but I’m really glad to be here and I know it will help me a lot.
I’m really thankful for my time studying at Youcan school because all the lessons that I had there are helping me now, I also would like to thank each teacher that taught me to love English language and achieve this opportunity.

Meu nome é Jessica, sou ex-aluna da escola Youcan. Estou tendo uma oportunidade incrível de morar em Londres para estudar neste momento.
Cheguei aqui no dia 26 de agosto de 2020 e tive que ficar em quarentena por 14 dias. O tempo estava bom e quente, mas eu tinha que segurar toda a felicidade que estava sentindo e ficar em casa.
Meu primeiro contato com a língua inglesa aqui foi em supermercados e farmácias (únicos lugares que pude ir). Entretanto, meu primeiro mês em Londres foi incrível e esses 14 dias passaram rápido!
Tudo é tão diferente e novo para mim; cada rua me chama a atenção. Eu já estive em tantos lugares lindos, mas o meu preferido (até agora) é a London Eye.
Minha agenda é corrida durante a semana, tenho estudado de segunda a quinta das 9h às 17h30 e às sextas das 9h às 13h, mas estou muito feliz de estar aqui e sei que isso vai me ajudar muito.
Eu sou muito grata pelo meu tempo estudando na escola Youcan, porque todas as aulas que tive lá estão me ajudando agora, eu também gostaria de agradecer a cada professor que me ensinou a amar a língua inglesa e a alcançar esta oportunidade.
